My passion for creativity began with the influence of my grandmother. Emigrating from Ukraine at the age of fifteen, she arrived in Philadelphia and found work in a sewing factory. As a child, I would wait for her to arrive home from her job with scraps of fabric. She taught me the basics of sewing as we sat for hours designing and making doll clothes. During the hectic time of my business career and raising children, I set aside my passion for sewing. Upon retirement, I resumed my interest in sewing.
My handbags are recognized for their unusual themes. I often use customized embroidery designs, always include interesting linings, and numerous pockets for organizational ease. I begin with my choice of a fine fabric, add a customized embroidery design and hand paint backgrounds to further distinguish each handbag as a unique wearable art form. Great attention is given to each bag to assure functionality and overall impeccable construction.
